Sarah is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in treating mental health and substance use disorders. Since earning her Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health in 2020 Sarah has primarily worked with clients who have co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She works collaboratively with clients to develop effective coping strategies and promote emotional well-being, focuses on both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction recovery, and offers integrated treatments to address both substance use and mental health conditions simultaneously.
Sarah integrates a person-centered approach with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques to tailor treatment plans to each individuals’ specific needs. She believes in the importance of fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship to facilitate lasting change.
