This year we are participating in The Annual Celebration of Trees, put on by the Crowne Plaza in Williamsburg.  Each agency puts up a tree to decorate relating to the work that they do.  The trees are up for about 2 weeks. There are envelopes on the table next to each tree to collect donations. People can go to the hotel to look at the trees, pick up an envelope for the tree of their choice (Bacon Street wink, wink), make a donation, and give the envelope to the front desk.  The hotel will collect all the money and on Wednesday December 16th there will be a reception where the agencies will be presented with their total donations.

The agency who raises the most money will be rewarded an extra $500 as a gift from the hotel! 

 Last year the total amount raised was approximately $46,000.  

This is the first year that Bacon Street has participated and we hope to be winners!

Please come by the hotel and show your support for our agency and take a look at our tree in real life!  Our tree is just through the front doors on the right-hand side. 

The reception will be Wednesday December 16th 6pm-8pm
